RBLI choose Events à la Carte to organise Royal opening of their state of the art assisted living scheme. <%= GetContent(1006) %><%= EditThis(1006) %>

Corporate EventsIn their 80th Anniversary year, and in anticipation of their most important Royal visit for 30 years RBLI asked us to create a unique event for 300 guests to celebrate the opening of their state of the art assisted living scheme for ex-service men and women in Aylesford. Over five hectic days, the residents watched their courtyard garden transform - plants were uprooted, boulders and bollards removed to make way for a 15m x 35m Winter Wonderland themed marquee. The Princess was greeted by a guard of honour, Kent civic dignitaries and the RBLI project team before touring the facilities and meeting residents. Despite spending time speaking to all 300 guests, she unveiled a plaque and was presented with signs made by Royal British Legion staff for her shop at Gatcombe Park.

Hedgestock a Festival of Networking.

Corporate EventsOver two days Hedgestock brought together the 'cool' end of the finance industry for a 1960's-themed love-in. The inaugural event in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust gathered more than 4,000 hedge fund industry managers, service providers and bankers at Knebworth, 45 minutes for London. Events a la Carte's team managed the participation of Concordia Advisors, sponsors of Centre stage. To facilitate the frenzy of networking we created a suitably corporate but 'cool' marquee with meeting rooms and an air-conditioned lounge bar. The highlight of the event was a blissed-out two hour concert by veteran rock band The Who. Concordia entertained and viewed the concert from a custom designed double decker bus, featuring two bars and a love-bed.
