RBLI choose Events à la Carte to organise Royal opening of their state of the art assisted living scheme. <%= GetContent(1006) %><%= EditThis(1006) %>
In their 80th Anniversary year, and in anticipation of their most important Royal visit for 30 years RBLI asked us to create a unique event for 300 guests to celebrate the opening of their state of the art assisted living scheme for ex-service men and women in Aylesford. Over five hectic days, the residents watched their courtyard garden transform - plants were uprooted, boulders and bollards removed to make way for a 15m x 35m Winter Wonderland themed marquee. The Princess was greeted by a guard of honour, Kent civic dignitaries and the RBLI project team before touring the facilities and meeting residents. Despite spending time speaking to all 300 guests, she unveiled a plaque and was presented with signs made by Royal British Legion staff for her shop at Gatcombe Park.
